Our Story
Built around the work.
Tile Arts has been in business since 1986. Today, the focus is high-end residential tile and natural stone work, primarily in San Francisco.
We design and install ceramic, porcelain, glass and natural stone across kitchens, bathrooms, showers, backsplashes, floors and custom features. Each project brings the materials, layout and installation together as one considered whole.
The people doing this work have been here for a long time. Every installer has worked directly for us for more than twenty five years. They are our own installers, not subcontractors.
Our commercial work is selective, primarily restaurants, banks and hotels. We bring the same care and craftsmanship to those spaces that we bring to high-end homes.
That experience includes traditional cement mortar beds, including wall beds. We use current installation systems when they are right for the job and can still build a mortar bed when a client or specification calls for one.
Tile Arts has been in business since 1986, and we are now in our 40th year. Tile Arts is licensed in California as a C-54 ceramic and mosaic tile contractor, license 489739. To talk about a project, write to [email protected].
