Subfloor prep & leveling
Assessment, crack isolation, and self-leveling so the finished floor is flat and stays put, which is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails.
Elegant, durable floors for any room, including the busy ones.
A tile or stone floor is a long-term decision. Done well, it outlasts almost everything else in the room. Tile Arts Inc installs flooring that earns that longevity: flat, level, and set on a substrate that won’t telegraph cracks a year later. The prep you don’t see is what keeps the floor you do see looking right.
We lay porcelain, ceramic, marble, travertine, and other stone in entries, kitchens, baths, and whole-floor open plans, including wood-look porcelain that brings the warmth of wood to wet and high-traffic areas where real wood struggles. From pattern layout to clean thresholds between rooms, we sweat the details that make a floor feel intentional.
Assessment, crack isolation, and self-leveling so the finished floor is flat and stays put, which is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails.
Durable, low-maintenance tile for kitchens, baths, mudrooms, and open-plan living, including large-format and wood-look planks.
Marble, travertine, limestone, and slate set and sealed for warmth and character underfoot.
Herringbone, basketweave, and custom layouts, with clean transitions and thresholds to adjoining rooms and flooring types.
It’s one of the best choices. Porcelain in particular is extremely hard-wearing and easy to maintain, which is why it shows up in entries, kitchens, and commercial spaces. Natural stone is durable too and adds warmth, with a bit more maintenance.
Because most floor-tile failures trace back to what’s underneath. If the substrate flexes or isn’t flat, tiles crack and grout fails. We prep, level, and add crack-isolation where needed so the finished floor stays sound.
Yes. Wood-look porcelain plank has come a long way and gives you the warmth of wood with the water- and wear-resistance of tile, ideal for kitchens, baths, and busy households.
Depending on the existing floor and height constraints, sometimes, but a sound substrate is non-negotiable. We’ll tell you honestly whether to overlay or tear out for the best result.
